History of Family Krishna:

The family of Krishna, it has a long and some what distinguished history. Before the collapse the organization that would become the family of Krishna was known as the Ironstone Consortium. It was a lesser merchant guild before the destruction of the Consortium's home nation. After the world was brought to ruins, the remnants of the Consortium set out to rebuild itself in the Dark Age that followed. Between internal and external conflicts, the Consortium seemed doomed to extinction, alongside the age that spawned the organization, however this end did not come to pass. Fifteen years after the fall, a woman named Catherine de Lan Krishna came to power using a combination of ruthlessness and intimidation to crush her opposition and rally the crumbling Consortium to a single cause, her cause.

Unified the Consortium would move into the region formerly known as Upper Ossalen, a northern forest fed by the mighty river Osganella. The Consortium chose this region to begin anew as it was once a prosperous region known for its farming. However it had been the target of raiders and would-be kings for the last forty years and was now little more than mud fields surrounded by overgrowth. Few people still lived there making due with hand crafted tools and hiding in fear of the wild life and bandits that still stalked the region.

It cost the Consortium many years, most of their resources and their leader to take control of Upper Ossalen.
